Special Note(s) for this photograph: The varnish on the back of “The Cannon” is moderately worn. Also notice the area slightly higher than center, left of the bar, where the original seal of Genoa once was. When it was removed (notice the one that replaced it on the back of the scroll) it pulled some of the varnish off.
